Hi! My name is Moriah Costa. I am an award-winning journalist, content writer, and editor with over a decade of experience covering investing, banking, the environment, real estate, and travel. I am also an illustrator and reportage artist.
I’ve written for The Guardian, Reuters, Money, Business Insider, and others.
My work has looked at how wine is grown in a desert, the role of central banks in the transition to a green economy, the flood insurance gap in the U.S. and its impact on real estate, the impact of minority banks, and the historical importance of plant dye in Toulouse, France.
My illustration work focuses on reportage, with an emphasis on live reporting and capturing the essense of a place. My art has been shaped by my work as a journalist and as a traveler who has lived abroad for over a decade.
Besides journalism and illustration, I have experience with content writing, SEO, business writing, drafting newsletters, ghost writing, and managing social media.
I grew up in Arizona but call Paris, France my home.
